Chocolate & Nut Popsicles

What do you crave the most when it's deathly hot out? Ice cream of course! But what if you're still trying to achieve that summer bod and trying to watch what you eat? Or what if it's so hot that you can't bare to step out to visit your local ice cream parlor? Well here's a quick healthy and easy popsicle recipe that will help your cravings! I found some inspiration from Pinterest and I mixed and matched a few recipes. This recipe will make 10 popsicles, but that'll depend on the size of your molds

popsicle mold/popsicle sticks

3 bananas
1 cup mixed nut butter (or any nut butter)
1 cup almond milk
1 1/2 cup greek yogurt
1 cup dark chocolate chips
2 tbsp coconut oil
1/2 cup crushed almonds

In a blender mix in the bananas, nut butter, milk and yogurt until everything is liquified. Then pour the mixture into your molds and freeze for 3 hours. Before you take out the popsicles put the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a small bowl and heat it up in a microwave for 1.5 minutes then let it cool. Take out the popsicles from the mold and places them on a cookie sheet or a sheet of foil so you can minimize the chocolate mess! Take a spoon and drizzle as little or as much chocolate as you want and sprinkle the almonds before the chocolate drizzle hardens. And that's it! Enjoy your guilt free popsicle!
